TEXT 25
phālgunasyāmale pakṣe
dvādaśāhaṁ payo-vratam
arcayed aravindākṣaṁ
bhaktyā paramayānvitaḥ
SYNONYMS
phālgunasya—of the month of Phālguna (February and March); amale—during the bright; pakṣe—fortnight; dvādaśa-aham—for twelve days, ending with Dvādaśī, the day after Ekādaśī; payaḥ-vratam—accepting the vow of taking only milk; arcayet—one should worship; aravinda-akṣam—the lotus-eyed Supreme Personality of Godhead; bhaktyā—with devotion; paramayā—unalloyed; anvitaḥ—surcharged.
TRANSLATION
In the bright fortnight of the month of Phālguna [February and March], for twelve days ending with Dvādaśī, one should observe the vow of subsisting only on milk and should worship the lotus-eyed Supreme Personality of Godhead with all devotion.
PURPORT
Worshiping the Supreme Lord Viṣṇu with devotion means following arcana-mārga.
śravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇoḥ
smaraṇaṁ pāda-sevanam
arcanaṁ vandanaṁ dāsyaṁ
sakhyam ātma-nivedanam
[SB 7.5.23]
One should install the Deity of Lord Viṣṇu or Kṛṣṇa and worship Him nicely by dressing Him, decorating Him with flower garlands, and offering Him all kinds of fruits, flowers and cooked food, nicely prepared with ghee, sugar and grains. One should also offer a flame, incense and so on, while ringing a bell, as prescribed. This is called worship of the Lord. Here it is recommended that one observe the vow of subsisting only by drinking milk. This is called payo-vrata. As we generally perform devotional service on Ekādaśī by not eating grains, it is generally recommended that on Dvādaśī one not consume anything but milk. payo-vrata and arcana devotional service to the Supreme Lord should be performed with a pure devotional attitude (bhaktyā). Without bhakti, one cannot worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Bhaktyā mām abhijānāti yāvān yaś cāsmi tattvataḥ. If one wants to know the Supreme Personality of Godhead and be directly connected with Him, knowing what He wants to eat and how He is satisfied, one must take to the process of bhakti. As recommended here also, bhaktyā paramayānvitaḥ: one should be surcharged with unalloyed devotional service
Pure devotees are so absorbed in thought of Kṛṣṇa that they have no other engagement; although they may seem to think or act otherwise, they are always thinking of Kṛṣṇa. The smile of such a Kṛṣṇa conscious person is so attractive that simply by smiling he wins so many admirers, disciples and followers.

Translation
O fools, just read Śrī Caitanya–maṅgala! By reading this book you can understand all the glories of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Purport
Śrī Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura’s Caitanya–bhāgavata was originally entitled Caitanya–maṅgala, but when Śrīla Locana dāsa Ṭhākura later wrote another book named Caitanya–maṅgala, Śrīla Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura changed the name of his own book, which is now therefore known as Caitanya–bhāgavata. The life of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is very elaborately described in the Caitanya–bhāgavata, and Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī has already informed us that in his Śrī Caitanya–caritāmṛta he has described whatever Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura has not mentioned. This acceptance of Śrī Caitanya–bhāgavata by Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī indicates his acceptance of the disciplic succession. A writer of transcendental literature never tries to surpass the previous ācāryas.
“Narahari dāsa Sarakāra was a very famous devotee. Locana dāsa Ṭhākura, the celebrated author of Śrī Caitanya–maṅgala, was his disciple. In the Caitanya–maṅgala it is stated that Śrī Gadādhara dāsa and Narahari Sarakāra were extremely dear to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, but there is no specific statement regarding the inhabitants of the village of Śrīkhaṇḍa.”
(Excerpt from Śrīla Prabhupāda purport on Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā 10.78-79 | 1973 Edition)
Dear Prabhus, please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Here is something which I have discovered which may be a very significant deviation from Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions:
INTRODUCTION:
In Los Angeles, in 1973, when I started the Bhaktivedanta Tape Ministry, I was working very closely with Kṛṣṇakānti Dāsa, who was, at that time, giving most of his attention to producing the radio show called “The Kṛṣṇa Show.” Śrīla Prabhupāda was there, and Kṛṣṇakānti was working directly under the GBC/BBT trustee, Karāndhara Dāsa, and I was working directly under Kṛṣṇakānti. I was talking to Kṛṣṇakānti daily, he was talking to Karāndhara almost daily. Karāndhara was talking to Śrīla Prabhupāda almost daily, also. Kṛṣṇakānti was, almost every morning, lugging a very large, professional 2-track stereo tape recorder with 10½” reels up to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s quarters to record him singing bhajans. These are among the very few professional quality stereo recordings made of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s chanting. These bhajans are the ones that are on the CDs that the BBT has published.
One day, Kṛṣṇakānti told me, “Śrīla Prabhupāda says that we should not edit his lectures. Either we should publish the whole lecture, or none of it.” This didn’t really apply to me, because my goal was to get the lectures into the hands of our BTM subscribers ASAP, not to edit anything. It applied more to the temptation that Kṛṣṇakānti had: to include portions of lectures as part of his radio show. If you don’t believe me, then ask Kṛṣṇakānti directly. He is still in Los Angeles, and I can even give you his telephone number. I haven’t checked with him on this, but I’m sure that he remembers this very significant instruction from his spiritual master.
In those days, editing words out of lectures was very difficult. It would have to be done by physically cutting and splicing tapes, or by painstakingly copying only the desired portions to a new tape. Now, however, once a lecture has been recorded on a computer’s hard drive, editing out words is extremely simple. All you have to do is highlight the portion of the waveform representation of the sound on the computer screen, click on the “play button” to make sure that it’s actually what you want to delete, and then press the “Delete” key on the keyboard! If it didn’t come out exactly the way you intended, you can even click the “Undo” option! This definitely makes it very tempting to edit Śrīla Prabhupāda’s lectures, in complete violation of his orders, and this is what has been going on!
For the past few weeks, I have been creating video tapes containing audio recordings of lectures by Śrīla Prabhupāda taken from CDs published by the Bhaktivedanta Archives in Sandy Ridge, NC. I have also been adding the corresponding words taken from the VedaBase, so that they appear on the screen in synchronization with the lectures. The purpose of this endeavor is mostly to provide the Sunday Feast guests with a good way to understand and appreciate Śrīla Prabhupāda. We give them, and all of the devotees present, pencil and paper, and ask them to write down questions that we recite to them before the lecture video starts, and tell them that they will again be asked these same questions, after the lecture is over. This is a very effective way of teaching, and the devotees and guests really get into it. Sometimes someone even asks if there is a prize for the best performance!
In the process of doing this blissful service, I have discovered that there are many things that have been edited out of the CD lectures! The lecture below is an example. After going through three other lectures without taking any notes, I decided that I would take notes on the next one. Because creating the video tapes is, until we get it more automated, a very labor intensive, difficult task, I purposely chose lectures which are short. The lecture below was chosen because it was the fourth shortest that I could find on the CDs that we have available, and for no other reason. I decided to take notes on the discrepancies before I listened to it, not after.
CHANGES TO ONE CD LECTURE CHOSEN ONLY FOR IT’S SHORTNESS:

This entire very instructive exchange, where Śrīla Prabhupāda chastises all of his big, big Sannyāsī leaders, and tells them that one woman did a better job of chanting the Sanskrit than any of them, was edited out!
In a lecture given in Los Angeles on September 17th, 1972 (CDM-12, Track 3), Śrīla Prabhupāda covers two verses in the same lecture. All of the following except the “Thank you very much” was edited out. Why???

Prabhupāda: So next.
Pradyumna: Next verse?
Prabhupāda: Yes.
Pradyumna: (leads chanting, etc.)
tataḥ saptama ākūtyāṁ
rucer yajño ’bhyajāyata
sa yāmādyaiḥ sura-gaṇair
apat svāyambhuvāntaram
Translation: “The seventh incarnation was advented as Yajña, the son of Prajāpati Ruci and his wife Ākūti. He controlled the period changed by the Svāyambhuva Manu, assisted by demigods, as His son Yama and others.”
Prabhupāda: So you are marking that so many incarnation of God have been described. We are now in the seventh. So there is chronological number, which incarnation, what is His chronological number, what is His father’s name, what is His mother’s name, what are His activities, how the bodily feature, what is the mission. Everything is described in the śāstra. Nowadays any rascal comes, and he says, “I am incarnation.” What is your father’s name? Whatever it is described? Whether in the śāstra? Because incarnation, we cannot accept any rascal as incarnation without proper identification. But it has become a fashion now. Any rascal comes, says, “I am incarnation of God.” So where is the mention? Some rascal says, “I was formerly Rāma and Kṛṣṇa.” Another rascal accepts, “Oh, you were Rāma and Kṛṣṇa?” So this kind of rascalism is not very good. You must accept the incarnation of God according to the description in the śāstras. Not one rascal cheats you and you also become another rascal to accept it. Don’t do that. You must know what are the indication of incarnation. This question was raised by Sanātana Gosvāmī to Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Because in this age of Kālī, Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s incarnation is stated in the śāstra, in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, in the Upaniṣad, in Mahābhārata. There are evidences. He appeared as the son of Jagannātha Miśra, but His incarnation is stated in the śāstra. Therefore we accept Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu as incarnation. Caitanya Mahāprabhu never said that “I am incarnation.” Rather, to warn the ordinary people that they should not accept any so-called incarnation, when somebody stated Caitanya Mahāprabhu that “You are incarnation of Kṛṣṇa,” He immediately blocked His ears: “Don’t say like that. It is great offense, great offense.” Because He was playing the part of devotee. Caitanya Mahāprabhu was teaching us how to execute devotional service. And He deprecated Māyāvāda philosophy in so many ways. He was to establish the worship of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He was exemplifying Himself, how to become a devotee. So He never mentioned that He is incarnation. But we understand from the features of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu that He (is) incarnation of Kṛṣṇa. It is stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ tviṣākṛṣṇaṁ. Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ. Kṛṣṇa varṇayati, or in the category of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ. And tviṣā akṛṣṇa, by His complexion He is not black. Akṛṣṇa. Akṛṣṇa means not black. So not black. It may be other color. Yes. That may be. But in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam it is said… When Gargamuni was preparing the horoscope of Kṛṣṇa, he said, śuklo raktas tathā pitā idānīṁ kṛṣṇatāṁ gataḥ. Incarnation of God, either white, śuklo raktaḥ, either red, yellow, or black. These colors accepted. So Gargamuni said, śuklo raktas tathā pitā idānīṁ kṛṣṇatāṁ gataḥ: “Your son, this son, formerly He appeared in white color, in red color, in yellow color. Now He has appeared in black color.” So Caitanya Mahāprabhu was yellow color. Therefore, when it is said in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, tviṣā akṛṣṇam, “He is not black,” that means “He is pitā, He is yellow.” Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ tviṣākṛṣṇaṁ sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam. “He is always associated by His devotees.” Caitanya Mahāprabhu, so long He lived on this planet, He was always associated with the devotees. The most confidential devotees, Caitanya Mahāprabhu: śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya, the central point, prabhu nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda. So sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam, Kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ. He is always chanting Kṛṣṇa. He is Kṛṣṇa Himself, tviṣā akṛṣṇam, but His bodily complexion is not like that. And other feature: sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam, and He is always associated with His devotees. They are His soldiers. Sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam. In other incarnation, Kṛṣṇa comes with weapon. As Lord Rāmacandra He came with bows and arrows. As Kṛṣṇa He came with disc and club. Here Kṛṣṇa has come compassionately to distribute mercy to the fallen souls. So He has not taken any astra, any weapon. His weapon is His associate devotee. Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s associate, Nityānanda Prabhu, He is going to kill Jagāi and Mādhāi, not by weapon, but by His mercy. He went to preach Jagāi and Mādhāi, the drunkards, the woman-hunters, flesh-eaters, and they hurt Him. Still, He delivered them. So these astra…, this is the astra. By argument, by philosophy, by entreating, by flattering, they are giving Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Advaita Prabhu, Nityānanda Prabhu. Yes. Otherwise, they are already killed. Kṛṣṇa, if He kills them, then everything is finished. They are already killed by so many bad habits. They are going to hell. So those who are already killed, so what will be benefit by killing them? So deliver them. Sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam. This is the incarnation of Kṛṣṇa. It is stated. And how He is worshiped? Yajñaiḥ saṅkīrtana-prāyair yajanti hi sumedhasaḥ. The worshiping method of Lord Caitanya incarnation of Kṛṣṇa is not very difficult. Simply yajñaiḥ saṅkīrtanaiḥ. You perform this yajña of saṅkīrtana: Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare. Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare. So Sanātana Gosvāmī, he was a minister. So to confirm this, he asked Caitanya Mahāprabhu that “How I can accept somebody as incarnation?” So Caitanya Mahāprabhu said that “That is not difficult. Everything is stated in the śāstras, and from the evidence of śāstra, you can accept who is incarnation.” So our point is that you do not become so foolish and rascal, that any rascal comes and poses himself as God, incarnation of God… You kick on their face. Please consult the śāstras whether his name, his father’s name, his mother’s name, his features of the body, his activities, are corroborating with the śāstra. Then accept. Otherwise don’t.
Thank you very much. (end)
************* End of copied text *************
The worst thing about this practice is that sometimes the editing makes Śrīla Prabhupāda look foolish, such as the following lecture given in Los Angeles on September 25th, 1972 (CDM-2, Track 2):
************** Begin copied text *************
What is that verse? Can anyone cite? kṣatriya-rudhira-maye jagad-apagata-pāpaṁ…
************* End of copied text *************
Obviously, Śrīla Prabhupāda would have paused after saying “Can anyone cite?,” waiting to see if any of his disciples could remember the verse that he was referring to, but on the CD, the pause has been edited out! Śrīla Prabhupāda seems to ask the question and then, without a moments delay, recite the verse himself! Is this not doing Śrīla Prabhupāda a very great disservice by making him look foolish?

Knowledge of the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna is the King of Knowledge!
Bhagavad Gita 9.2 raja-vidya raja-guhyam pavitram idam uttamam pratyaksavagamam dharmyam su-sukham kartum avyayamraja-vidya–the king of education; raja-guhyam–the king of confidential knowledge; pavitram–the purest; idam–this; uttamam–transcendental; pratyaksa–directly experienced; avagamam–understood; dharmyam–the principle of religion; su-sukham–very happy; kartum–to execute; avyayam–everlasting. This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.
“The Lord especially liked to hear Bilvamaṅgala Ṭhākura’s Kṛṣṇa–karṇāmṛta, the poetry of Vidyāpati and Śrī Gīta–govinda by Jayadeva Gosvāmī. Śrī CaitanyaMahāprabhu felt great pleasure in His heart when His associates chanted verses from these books.” (Sri Caitanya-caritamrta – 1975 Edition : Cc. Antya-lila : Antya 15: The Transcendental Madness of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu : Antya 15.27)
“Jayadeva Gosvāmī, a Vaiṣṇava poet who appeared about seven hundred years before Lord Caitanya. Jayadeva was a great devotee, and he wrote a very famous song about the Lord called Gīta–govinda.” (Back to Godhead Magazine #53, 1973 >> Knowing and Serving the Original Person)
“Jayadeva Gosvāmī, in his Gīta–govinda, has sung as follows: “The Lord has saved the Vedas in His form as a fish, and He has borne the whole universe on His back in the form of a tortoise. He has picked up this earthly planet from the water in the form of a boar. He has killed Hiraṇyakaśipu in the form of Nṛsiṁha. He has cheated Mahārāj Bali in the form of Vāmana. He has annihilated all the dynasties of the kṣatriyas in the form of Paraśurāma. He has killed all the demons in the form of Lord Rāma. He has accepted the great plow in the form of Balarāma. He has annihilated all the atheistic persons in the form of Kalki. And He has saved all the poor animals in the form of Lord Buddha.”* These are some of the descriptions of the incarnations emanating from Kṛṣṇa, and from the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam it is understood that innumerable incarnations are always coming out from the body of Kṛṣṇa, just like waves in the ocean. No one can even count how many waves there are, and similarly no one can count how many incarnations are coming from the Lord’s body.” (The Nectar of Devotion – 1970 Edition: NoD 22: Qualities of Krsna Further Explained: 58. The Original Source of All Incarnations)

TRANSLATION
The fifty-eighth great devotee of Lord Nityānanda Prabhu was Kaṁsāri Sena, the fifty-ninth was Rāmasena, the sixtieth was Rāmacandra Kavirāja, and the sixty-first, sixty-second and sixty-third were Govinda, Śrīraṅga and Mukunda, who were all physicians.
PURPORT
Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja, the son of Khaṇḍavāsi Cirañjīva and Sunanda, was a disciple of Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and the most intimate friend of Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, who prayed several times for his association. His youngest brother was Govinda Kavirāja. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī very much appreciated Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja’s great devotion to Lord Kṛṣṇa and therefore gave him the title Kavirāja. Śrī Rāmacandra Kavirāja, who was perpetually disinterested in family life, greatly assisted in the preaching work of Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura. He resided at first in Śrīkhaṇḍa but later in the village of Kumāra-nagara on the bank of the Ganges. Govinda Kavirāja was the brother of Rāmacandra Kavirāja and youngest son of Cirañjīva of Śrīkhaṇḍa. Although at first a sākta, or worshiper of goddess Durgā, he was later initiated by Śrīnivāsa Ācārya Prabhu. Govinda Kavirāja also resided first in Śrīkhaṇḍa and then in Kumāra-nagara, but later he moved to the village known as Teliyā Budhari on the southern bank of the River Padma. Since Govinda Kavirāja, the author of two books, Saṅgīta-mādhava and Gītāmṛta, was a great Vaiṣṇava kavi, or poet, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī gave him the title Kavirāja. He is described in the Bhakti- ratnākara, Ninth Taraṅga.
Kaṁsāri Sena was formerly Ratnāvalī in Vraja, as described in the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā, verses 194 and 200.

In the year 1433 sakābda, when Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu was touring South India, He stayed for four months during the period of Cāturmāsya at the house of Veṅkaṭa Bhaṭṭa, who then got the opportunity to serve the Lord to his heart’s content. Gopāla Bhaṭṭa also got the opportunity to serve the Lord at this time. Śrī Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī was later initiated by his uncle, the great sannyāsī Prabodhānanda Sarasvati. Both the father and mother of Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī were extremely fortunate, for they dedicated their entire lives to the service of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. They allowed Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmi to go to Vṛndāvana, and they gave up their lives thinking of Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
When Lord Caitanya was later informed that Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmi had gone to Vṛndāvana and met Śrī Rūpa and Sanātana Gosvāmī, He was very pleased, and He advised Śri Rūpa and Sanātana to accept Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī as their younger brother and take care of him. Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, out of his great affection for Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, compiled the Vaiṣṇava smṛti named Hari-bhakti-vilāsa and published it under his name. Under the instruction of Śrīla Rūpa and Sanātana, Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī installed one of the seven principal Deities of Vṛndāvana, the Rādhāramaṇa Deity. The sevāits (priests) of the Rādhāramaņa temple belong to the Gaudiya-sampradaya. When Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī took permission from all the Vaisnavas before writing Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī also gave him his blessings, but he requested him not to mention his name in the book. Therefore Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī has mentioned Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmi only very cautiously in one or two passages of Caitanya-caritāmṛta.
Śrila Jīva Gosvāmī has written in the beginning of his Tattva-sandarbha, “A devotee from southern India who was born of a brāhmaṇa family and was a very intimate friend of Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī has written a book that he has not compiled chronologically. Therefore I, a tiny living entity known as jīva, am trying to assort the events of the book chronologically, consulting the direction of great personalities like Madhvācārya, Śrīdhara Svāmī, Rāmānujācārya and other senior Vaiṣṇavas in the disciplic succes-sion.” In the beginning of the Bhagavat-sandarbha there are similar statements by Śrila Jīva Gosvāmī. Śrīla Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī compiled a book called Sat-kriyāsāra-dīpikā, edited the Hari-bhakti-vilāsa, wrote a foreword to the Ṣaṭ-sandarbha and a commentary on the Kṛṣṇa-karṇāmṛta, and installed the Rādhāramaṇa Deity in Vṛndāvana.
In the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā, verse 184, it is mentioned that his previous name in the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa was Anaṅga-mañjarī. Sometimes he is also said to have been an incarnation of Guna-mañjarī. Śrīnivāsa Ācārya and Gopīnātha Pūjārī were two of his disciples.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna! Krishna Krishna Hare Hare! Hare Rama Hare Rama! Rama Rama Hare Hare!
Srila Prabhupada said in 1972 in Kartika in Vrindavana that we must always be ready to offer respect to everyone, because each living entity is originally a devotee of God or Krishna, but circumstantially the soul being covered by ignorance, is acting as a demon, in this world there are divine and demonic people, divine people obey the laws of God or Krishna and demonic ones do not, but everyone’s original nature is to be a devotee of God or Krishna. The first thing to do in devotional life is to purify the designations, the designations mean the things that we are not but that we think we are, for example people in general think that I am the body, and therefore I am Spanish, American , Hindu, etc., I am the master of everything, my house and my family belong to me, I am the enjoyer, the controller of everything, this woman is my wife, here is my son, here is my brother, etc., everything these are designations, the result of living with designations is that the person lives full of fear, envy, ignorance and very conditioned, a soul free of designations believes and experiences that I am not the body, but an eternal spiritual soul, a loving servant of God or Krishna and His devotees, my relatives are also children of God or Krishna, my house and everything I own belongs to God or Krishna and I use everything for the service of God or Krishna, the result of having that God consciousness or Krishna, is that the person lives happily and free.
In devotional life there are three kinds of devotees of God or Krishna, the neophyte, the middle stage, and the perfect devotee. First you have to understand what faith is, faith means having complete conviction that when chanting the Maha-Mantra Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H se read as J for j) will automatically fulfill all duties and complete all godly activities. The neophyte devotee exhibits a faith that is formal, even worldly, worships Deity but has not developed an interest in serving the representative of God or Krishna, the authorized spiritual master, the devotee in the middle stage develops loving affection for God or Krishna , makes friends with other devotees, has compassion for innocent people, an innocent person is one who believes in God or Krishna, but is not advanced in spiritual life, and avoids the company of atheists, and the perfect devotee is one who he sees God or Krishna everywhere, and God or Krishna is his life and soul, his life revolves around The Maha-Mantra Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (the H is read as J for j), for him, the Holy Name of God or Krishna is the essence of everything.
