Lord Jaganatha's roses and garden
Please accept my humble obeisances all glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The Lord's roses are now up and quite prolific. The photos speak for themselves.
You can see to and from our little deck and gaze upon the little garden in develpoment for
this years crop of veggies. We've planted blue potatoes, pole beans, beets, kale,
cherry tomatoes, plum tomatoes, green peppers, broccoli, lettuce, peas, butternut
and buttercup squash yellow and green zuccini and a few cucumbers.
We have plenty of oregano, thyme and basil now in. I just love a nice hot cup of
infused thyme tea at the end of a hard work day. Sri Visnu, Sri Visnu, Sri Visnu.
The greenery in the first photo is Broccoli and lettuce.
This is our first year growing Broccoli. Should be a challenge. We'll be planting more in
August as the group in now are miniatures and almost ready as it has been quite hot
and humid.
The shot from the garden at ground level showing tall yellow flowers is our Kale
developing seeds for this year and next. We still have one more plant from last year
to harvest and offer. It must have developed love of God because it does not want to
go to seed yet. :) The photo looking down into the garden shows work in progress and
the old family wooden chair used for a quick sit down to gather thoughts before the next
forkful of dirt needs to be turned. In another ground level shot you can see part of the
frame of our three seater swing, a great place to rest, have some cold spring water and
cool down during the work day in Krsna's garden. My favourite shot is number five.
My wife Lila Katha Devi Dasi took all these photos and number five I think shows great
composition.
Take care everyone. YS Hasti Gopala Dasa
