SP’s order to print 17 books of CC in two months time

Prabhupāda: Oh. [break] So many dogs, “best friends.” [break] …they have erased, “No dogs on beach,” “Dogs on beach.” (laughter) Just see how lawful they are. [break] How many books are pending? Rāmeśvara?
Rāmeśvara: I think we have just added one more in the Sixth Canto since you have started translating it.
Prabhupāda: No, no. How many books are pending?
Rāmeśvara: Still about seventeen.
Prabhupāda: So?
Rāmeśvara: We have just sent Madhya Two…
Prabhupāda: They are not complete?
Rāmeśvara: You have finished them.
Prabhupāda: No, I have finished. I mean to edit, editing?
Rāmeśvara: Editing, we are done five volumes in Madhya-līlā and two volumes in Antya-līlā. But they are being held up in the Sanskrit division.
Prabhupāda: So you get it corrected. I am present. I will do that.
Rāmeśvara: I think when Nitāi and Jagannātha come,
Śrīla Prabhupāda, all the books will come out within a few months, all of them.Prabhupāda: No, no, not a few months. I want these seventeen pending books must be printed within two months. That I want. Otherwise disqualification. Yes. [break] …be done. Your so many GBC’s are here, and you are also here, I am also here. Decide! It must be done. It is too much delay. [break] …constructing something here, but stopped? What is that?

Devotee: Especially the Deities. They are most impressed by the beautiful Deities.
Prabhupāda: They are dressing nicely?
Nitāi: Yes, very nicely. [break]
Prabhupāda: We have decided to finish these seventeen books pending, within two months. So make your program, how to do it. It must be done.
Rādhā-vallabha: You’re including the Fifth Canto. Is that right, Śrīla Prabhupāda?
Prabhupāda: Hm?
Rādhā-vallabha: You’re including the Fifth Canto when you say seventeen books.
Rāmeśvara: Yes. Fifth Canto also by the end of August, for Vyāsa-pūjā day.
Prabhupāda: That’s nice.
Rādhā-vallabha: [break] …amṛta, that is thirteen more books. Caitanya-caritāmṛta is sixteen volumes altogether. So we have already finished four. So that’s twelve plus maybe four to five Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. [break] Now that Nitāi and Jagannātha are here, it may be possible.
Prabhupāda: Yes. [break] …may be, must be. (laughter)Nitāi: The only difficulty we face in editing is that sometimes there are problems that come up which we can’t figure out ourselves.
Prabhupāda: So I shall remain here.
Nitāi: If you remain here, then we can finish very easily.
Prabhupāda: Oh, yes. [break]
Note-I had heard that at one time these BBT devotees said to Prabhupada 17 books could not be done in two months time-that was “impossible”Prabhupada replied-”impossible” is a word in a fools dictionary. From a karmi or material view, yes 17 books published in only 2 months would be impossible but they were dealing with the immense potency of a pure devotee of the Lord, who also told them whoever took part in it, if they did it, then all of them would go back to Godhead at the end of this lifetime.And they got the job done- and the rest is history.

Adi 8.5-–By remembering the lotus feet of the Pañca-tattva, a dumb man can become a poet, a lame man can cross mountains, and a blind man can see the stars in the sky.
PURPORT-In Vaiṣṇava philosophy there are three ways for perfection-namely, sādhana-siddha, perfection attained by executing devotional service according to the rules and regulations; nitya-siddha, eternal perfection attained by never forgetting Kṛṣṇa at any time; and kṛpā-siddha, perfection attained by the mercy of the spiritual master or another Vaiṣṇava. Kavirāja Gosvāmī here stresses kṛpā-siddha, perfection by the mercy of superior authorities. This mercy does not depend on the qualifications of a devotee. By such mercy, even if a devotee is dumb he can speak or write to glorify the Lord splendidly, even if lame he can cross mountains, and even if blind he can see the stars in the sky.
