Srila Prabhupada explains the beauty of Radharani
compiled by Padmapani dasa

“Among the gopīs, Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the foremost. She surpasses all in beauty, in good qualities, in good fortune and, above all, in love.”

(Caitanya-caritāmṛta Ādi 4.214)

“The beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s eyes forcibly devours the beauty of newly grown blue lotus flowers, and the beauty of Her face surpasses that of an entire forest of fully blossomed lotuses. Her bodily luster seems to place even gold into a painful situation. Thus the wonderful, unprecedented beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is awakening in Vṛndāvana.” (Caitanya-caritāmṛta Antya 1.169, Purport)

“The beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is described as follows: ‘Her eyes defeat the attractive features of the eyes of the cakorī bird. When one sees the face of Rādhārāṇī, he immediately hates the beauty of the moon. Her bodily complexion defeats the beauty of gold. Thus, let us all look upon the transcendental beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī.” (Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 44)

“In the Vidagdha-mādhava, Second Act, verse 31, Kṛṣṇa tells His friend, ‘My dear friend, what a wonderful thing it is that since I have seen the beautiful lotus eyes of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, I have developed a tendency to spit on the moon and the lotus flower!’ ” (Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 50)

“There is no comparison to Radharani’s beauty and the luster of Her transcendental body. The so-called beauty of the moon has fallen on the ground in the presence of Radharani’s beauty.” (From Vrindavana by Srila Narottama das Thakura)

“Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s affection, Her exquisite beauty and good behavior, Her artistic dancing and chanting and Her poetic compositions are all so attractive that they attract the mind of Kṛṣṇa, who attracts the mind of everyone in the universe.” (Caitanya-caritāmṛta Madhya 17.212)

“Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī has stated that devotional service attracts even Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa attracts everyone, but devotional service attracts Kṛṣṇa. The symbol of devotional service in the highest degree is Rādhārāṇī. Kṛṣṇa is called Madana-mohana, which means that He is so attractive that He can defeat the attraction of thousands of Cupids. But Rādhārāṇī is still more attractive, for She can even attract Kṛṣṇa. Therefore, devotees call Her Madana-mohana-mohinī—the attractor of the attractor of Cupid.” (Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 1)

“Srimati Radharani is the most beautiful, and She always enchants Krishna, but at the same time, Krishna is always the Enchanter of Radharani. This reciprocal attraction of Radharani and Krishna is the basic principal of Lord Caitanya’s philosophy.” (Srila Prabhupada Letter, May 22, 1969)

“In the Caitanya-caritāmṛta it is said that when Kṛṣṇa comes before Rādhārāṇī, She becomes so much engladdened by seeing the beauty of Kṛṣṇa that She becomes more beautiful. And as soon as Rādhārāṇī becomes beautiful, Kṛṣṇa becomes engladdened and He becomes more beautiful. So unlimitedly there is competition of becoming more beautiful, duhe lage hurai… That is the statement. Competition. Because in the spiritual world everything is unlimited. So unlimitedly, both of Them becoming beautiful and both of Them enjoying unlimitedly. This is Kṛṣṇa consciousness.”  (Srila Prabhupada Lecture, New Vrindavan, September 6, 1972)

“In the Lalita-mādhava, Rūpa Gosvāmī explains that the movements of Kṛṣṇa’s eyebrows are just like the Yamunā, and the smiling of Rādhārāṇī is just like the moonshine. When the Yamunā and the moonshine come in contact on the bank of the river, the water tastes just like nectar, and drinking it gives great satisfaction. It is as cooling as piles of snow.” (Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 44)

“In the words of Vaiṣṇava poets, it is said that the Lord’s beauty is so enchanting that it defeats hundreds of thousands of Cupids. He is therefore called Madana-mohana. It is also described that the Lord sometimes becomes mad after the beauty of Rādhārāṇī. Poets describe that under those circumstances, although Lord Kṛṣṇa is Madana-mohana, He becomes Madana-dāha, or enchanted by the beauty of Rādhārāṇī. Actually, the Lord’s beauty is superexcellent, surpassing even the beauty of Lakṣmī in Vaikuṇṭha. The devotees of the Lord in the Vaikuṇṭha planets want to see the Lord as the most beautiful, but the devotees in Gokula or Kṛṣṇaloka want to see Rādhārāṇī as more beautiful than Kṛṣṇa.”   (Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.15.42, Purport) Srila Prabhupada explains  The beauty of Radharanicompiled by APdmapani dasa

“Kṛṣṇa is the most beautiful, Rādhārāṇī is the most beautiful. Couple, young couple. Our object of worship when we see how nice Rādhārāṇī, how nice Kṛṣṇa, beauty. Yes. Wherefrom the beauty worship has come in this material world unless there is beauty in the original form, Kṛṣṇa and Rādhārāṇī? So, God cannot be nirākāra (without form). Otherwise, why this beauty worship has come?”   (Srila Prabhupada Lecture, Bombay, October 13, 1973)

“Rādhe jaya jaya madhava-dayite. How She is? Gokula-taruṇī-maṇḍala-mahite. Taruṇī, taruṇī means young girls. You’ll see the pictures, they are all young girls. But of all the young girls, She is the most beautiful. She is enchanting to the young girls also. She is so beautiful. Gokula-taruṇī-maṇḍala-mahite. Dāmodara-rati-vardhana-veśe. And She always dresses Her so nicely that Dāmodara, Kṛṣṇa, becomes attracted by Her beauty. Hari-niṣkuta-vṛndā-vipineśe. And She is the only lovable object of Kṛṣṇa, and She is the queen of Vṛndāvana. This queen of Vṛndāvana.”

(Srila Prabhupada Radhastami Lecture, Montreal, August 30, 1968)

“Madana means Cupid. Cupid enchants everyone. Cupid. And Kṛṣṇa enchants Cupid. Therefore, His name is Madana-mohana. He’s so beautiful that even Cupid is enchanted by Him. But again, on the other side, Kṛṣṇa, although He’s so beautiful that He enchants the Cupid, still He is enchanted by Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. Therefore, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s name is Madana-mohana-mohinī. Kṛṣṇa is the enchanter of the Cupid, and Rādhārāṇī is the enchanter of that enchanter. So these are very high-grade spiritual understanding in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. It is not fiction or imagination, concoction. They are facts. They are facts. And every devotee can have such privileges if he is actually advanced.”   (Srila Prabhupada Lecture, Los Angeles, April 23, 1973)

The Bona fide guru can be present wherever the disciple wants–SP

Hare Krsna-below are many statements by Srila Prabhupada regarding the Absolute nature and potency of the Lords pure devotee. Kindly consider them in light of many many present day mis-conceptions.
“Just as Krishna can be present simultaneously in millions of places. Similarly, the spiritual master can be present wherever the disciple wants. A spiritual master is the principle, not the body. Just like a television can be seen in thousands of places by the principle of relay monitoring.”

(Srila Prabhupada Letter, May 28, 1968)

June 8 1976
Bharadvāja: I understand, Śrīla Prabhupāda, that the pure devotee can be as pervasive as Supersoul?
Prabhupāda: Hmm?
Bharadvāja: By the mercy of Supersoul, he can be present in many places at once?
Prabhupāda: Yes. By the grace of Kṛṣṇa, a devotee can become anything.
Duryodhana-guru: So in other words that means the pure devotees can be omniscient?
Prabhupāda: Everything. God is omniscient, so a pure devotee can become omniscient by the grace of God.

“There is no difference between me and my picture. Therefore we

should honor and keep pictures in that spirit. If we throw pictures
this way and that way, that is offence. The name and picture are as good as the person in spiritual world. In the material world either picture or person, everything is illusion.”  (Srila Prabhupada Letter, September 4, 1972)

“Kṛṣṇa is always prepared to accept you”

“Kṛṣṇa is always prepared to accept you”compiled by Balarama dasa, Australia

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā 7.108 Audio for this lecture: https://prabhupadavani.org/transcriptions/670218ccsf/

San Francisco, Feb. 18, 1967

Excerpts:

“Bhaktijana: But Kṛṣṇa will always be there if we want to go back?

Prabhupāda: Eh? Kṛṣṇa is always prepared to accept you. He’s always prepared. But because He has given us independence, we misuse it and we fall under the clutches of māyā. That is our misfortune. We create this misfortune, and we can create our good fortune. “Man is the architect of his own fortune.” So if you become Kṛṣṇa conscious, it is to your good fortune. If you become māyā conscious, it is to your bad fortune. You are the creator.

Bhaktijana: When the souls that were never conditioned at all…, do they also have the independence?

Prabhupāda: Yes, but they have not misused. They know that “I am meant for Kṛṣṇa’s service,” and they are happy in Kṛṣṇa’s service.

Bhaktijana: Could they ever misuse it?

Prabhupāda: Yes, they can misuse it also. That power is there. Yes?

Devotee: Well, I believe you once said that once a conditioned soul becomes perfected and gets out of the material world and he goes to Kṛṣṇaloka, there’s no possibility of falling back.

Prabhupāda: No! There is possibility, but he does not come. Just like after putting your hand in the fire, you never put it again if you are really intelligent. So those who are going back to Godhead, they become intelligent. Why going back to Godhead?

Just like we are in renounced order of life. So we have renounced our family life after thinking something. Now, if somebody comes, “Swāmījī, you take thousand millions of dollar and marry again and become a family man,” I’ll never become, because I have got my bad experience. I’ll never become.

So if one is intelligent enough, if he has got actually the bitter taste of this material world, he’ll never agree. He’ll never agree. But those who have not advanced to such knowledge, oh, they think, “Oh, this material enjoyment is very nice. Let me taste it and let me do business in my sannyāsī life, and stealthily and privately, let me enjoy.” These things are going on. That means they have no taste. They come to hospital-making or this philanthropy. This come again.

Bhaktijana: Has my soul ever been liberated?

Prabhupāda: That you know. I do not know.

Bhaktijana: If I was once liberated…

Prabhupāda: You are liberated. You are liberated. Simply just a cloud has covered you. Drive away the cloud. There is no question that you were ever. You are ever-liberated. That, the sky is always spiritual, but it is sometimes overcrowded with cloud, this māyā. This is called māyā. Actually, you are not conditioned. You are thinking. Just like in the dream you are thinking that tiger is eating you.

You were never eaten by tiger. There is no tiger. So we have to get out of this dream. Don’t you sometimes dream that tiger is eating you? Is there any tiger? You are simply thinking. So if you keep in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, that nonsense thinking will go away. Therefore we have to keep ourself always in Kṛṣṇa-thinking, so that this dream will never come. If you are always awakened, then dream never comes. So keep yourself always awakened by Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

All right. Distribute prasādam. [end]”

Subject: “There are many karmīs in the dress of devotees”

Srila Prabhupada: SB 8/9/28 Purport.

“..There are many karmīs in the dress of devotees, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead can detect their purpose. The karmīs want to use the property of the Lord for their selfish sense gratification, but a devotee endeavours to use the Lord’s property for God’s service. Therefore a devotee is always distinct from the karmīs, although the karmīs may dress like devotees…”

Complete proof of Srila Prabhupada approving
the ritvik initiation system (Message of Godhead,1955)

Hare Krsna. All glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
The following paragraph below completely refutes the Living Guru Experimental Project ideas. It is known how the LGEP has deceived all its followers for over 43 years since 1978. It is falsely perceived that the connection with Srila Prabhupada can only be established via the so-called self appointed “living Gurus”. Nowhere do we find even a single statement that the spiritual master ceases to exist after he leaves his body. Instead, we find all statements contradictory to the previous supposition.
Here is a snippet taken from Srila Prabhupada’s article called “Message of Godhead” published in 1955 in which it is stated clearly that “When one thus becomes interested in the permanent happiness of the permanent soul, he becomes a disciple of Santan Goswami or a real Sanatanist, i.e., the transcendentalist.”

Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam » Canto 8 » Chapter 24 » Text 51:(Suta Gosvami to King Pariksit):jano janasyādiśate ’satīṁ gatiṁyayā prapadyeta duratyayaṁ tamaḥtvaṁ tv avyayaṁ jñānam amogham añjasāprapadyate yena jano nijaṁ padam
SYNONYMS
janaḥ—a person who is not a bona fide guru (an ordinary person); janasya—of an ordinary person who does not know the goal of life; ādiśate—instructs; asatīm—impermanent, material; gatim—the goal of life; yayā—by such knowledge; prapadyeta—he surrenders; duratyayam—insurmountable; tamaḥ—to ignorance; tvam—Your Lordship; tu—but; avyayam—indestructible; jñānam—knowledge; amogham—without material contamination; añjasā—very soon; prapadyate—achieves; yena—by such knowledge; janaḥ—a person; nijam—his own; padam—original position.
TRANSLATION
A materialistic so-called guru instructs his materialistic disciples about economic development and sense gratification, and because of such instructions the foolish disciples continue in the materialistic existence of ignorance. But Your Lordship gives knowledge that is eternal, and the intelligent person receiving such knowledge is quickly situated in his original constitutional position.
PURPORTSo-called gurus instruct their disciples for the sake of material profit. Some guru advises that one meditate in such a way that his intelligence will increase in regard to keeping his body fit for sense gratification. Another guru advises that sex is the ultimate goal of life and that one should therefore engage in sex to the best of his ability. These are the instructions of foolish gurus. In other words, because of the instructions of a foolish guru one remains perpetually in material existence and suffers its tribulations. But if one is intelligent enough to take instructions from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as enunciated in Bhagavad-gītā or the Sāṅkhya philosophy of Kapiladeva, one can very soon attain liberation and be situated in his original position of spiritual life. The words nijaṁ padam are significant. The living entity, being part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, has the birthright to a position in Vaikuṇṭhaloka, or the spiritual world, where there is no anxiety. Therefore, one should follow the instructions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Then, as stated in Bhagavad-gītā, tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma naiti mām eti so ’rjuna: [Bg. 4.9] after giving up one’s body, one will return home, back to Godhead. The Lord lives in the spiritual world in His original personality, and a devotee who follows the instructions of the Lord approaches Him (mām eti). As a spiritual person, such a devotee returns to the Personality of Godhead and plays and dances with Him. That is the ultimate goal of life.

VYASA PUJA OFFERING – Harinam dasa

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
You have made it so easy for me to understand who I am. After wondering in this universe in 8,400,000 species of life for millions of births I don’t know how I have met your disciples who taught me to give up my nonsense trying to enjoy what cannot be enjoyed. Over and over again they encouraged me not to leave your service. By your clear instructions you said over and over again If I keep chanting Hare Krishna I would reach the highest perfection of human life one day soon. When? I did not know. But the world I left behind was, is, and will always be an illusion and no one can be happy in a world that ends in old age, disease, and death.,
The Hare Krishna mahamantra is from the spiritual world and its secrets can only be revealed to one who worships the name of Krishna as nondifferent from Him. Thank you for teaching us your clear explanations in your lectures and books that is flawless and complete truth for all time. All we are to do is to simply repeat what you have already have given without any change because the knowledge is perfect and easily understood by anyone regardless of age, education, gender, and race as it is our natural constitution existence transcendental to the material world of duality.
We are all looking for eternal life, knowledge, and bliss at every moment because that is our eternal spiritual qualities. When one achieves these perfections one knows that there is nothing higher just like when all the pieces of the puzzle are present the picture becomes clear. Thank you for this causeless mercy. Krishna has to be given freely to others otherwise it is not Krishna your have. This you have proven by your own example.
This age of Kali quarrel and hypocrisy has no effect on those who follow in your footsteps because you are the direct representative of Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his disciples. The sankirtan movement will increase for the next 10,000 years in every town and village.
O spiritual master, this most fallen soul is a testament to your eternal glory and legacy and anyone who follows you is sure to achieves the same very soon. Knowledge of Krishna the summum bonum is proof of the mercy of Krishna.

Śaṅkara became celebrated by the name “the pillow of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

In ecstasy, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu rubbed His face against the walls all night long, making a peculiar sound, “goṅ-goṅ,” which Svarūpa Dāmodara could hear through the door.

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu replied, “I was in such anxiety that I could not stay in the room. I wanted to go out, and therefore I wandered about the room, looking for the door.
