Work for Krsna/God, otherwise He will have no time for us at all
SB 2.9.34–O Brahmā, whatever appears to be of any value, if it is without relation to Me, has no reality. Know it as My illusory energy, that reflection which appears to be in darkness.
PURPORT
In the previous verse it has already been concluded that in any stage of the cosmic manifestation-its appearance, its sustenance, its growth, its interactions of different energies, its deterioration and its disappearance-all has its basic relation with the existence of the Personality of Godhead. And as such, whenever there is forgetfulness of this prime relation with the Lord, and whenever things are accepted as real without being related to the Lord, that conception is called a product of the illusory energy of the Lord. Because nothing can exist without the Lord, it should be known that the illusory energy is also an energy of the Lord. The right conclusion of dovetailing everything in relationship with the Lord is called yoga-māyā, or the energy of union, and the wrong conception of detaching a thing from its relationship with the Lord is called the Lord’s daivī māyā, or mahā-māyā. Both the māyās also have connections with the Lord because nothing can exist without being related to Him. As such, the wrong conception of detaching relationships from the Lord is not false but illusory.

Similarly, Kṛṣṇa is always ready to help us, provided we are also ready to cooperate with Him. If we cooperate with Him, what Kṛṣṇa desires, if we want to do little, immediately Kṛṣṇa will help you. If you work one percent, Kṛṣṇa will help you ten percent. Again if you work one percent, Kṛṣṇa will help you another ten percent. But the cent percent credit you get, by the help of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa gives you intelligence. Teṣāṁ satata-yuktānāṁ bhajatāṁ prīti-pūrvakam, buddhi-yogaṁ dadāmi tam (BG 10.10). If you are engaged satatam, twenty-four hours, without any other engagement, sarva-dharmān parityajya (BG 18.66), giving up all other nonsense business… Sarva-dharmān. Simply if you are engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s business, prīti-pūrvakam, with love. Not as hackneyed: ‘Ah, here is a duty, chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa. All right, Harekṛṣṇaharekṛṣṇaharekṛṣṇa…” (chants very quickly and indistinctly) Not like that. With prīti, with love. Chant every name, ‘Hare Kṛṣṇa,’ and hear. Here is Kṛṣṇa; here is Rādhārāṇī. That kind of chanting, quality. Not ‘Harekṛṣṇahare kṛṣṇakṛṣṇakṛṣṇaharehare…’ Not like that. Not like that. Prīti.

(Srila Prabhupada Lecture, Gorakhpur, February 6, 1971)
“Don’t try to see God, but act in such a way that God will call you, ‘Please come here.’ That is wanted. That is bhakti, not that ‘O God, please come. I will see You.’ Why God will come to see you? He is very busyWhat you have done that you want to see God? If you say, ‘O Indira Gandhi, please come here. I’ll see you,’ she will come? Be qualified, and she will see you. Similarly, don’t try… Gopāla is not anyone’s servant that He’ll come dancing and dancing. You be qualified, and He’ll see you. He’ll call you, ‘Yes, come back. Come back home, back to home, back to Godhead.’ Be qualified. So this is Prahlāda Mahārāja’s instruction. Everyone should be anxious how Kṛṣṇa will call him back to home, back to Godhead. And that is done, that is possible, when you are engaged in service. Otherwise it is not possible… Sevonmukhe hi jihvādau svayam eva sphuraty adaḥ (Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu1.2.234). You cannot ask God to come and He will see you. No. When you are sevonmukha, fully in service.
SB 1.5.34-Thus when all a man’s activities are dedicated to the service of the Lord, those very activities which caused his perpetual bondage become the destroyer of the tree of work.
PURPORT-Fruitive work which has perpetually engaged the living being is compared to the banyan tree in the Bhagavad-gītā, for it is certainly very deeply rooted. As long as the propensity for enjoying the fruit of work is there, one has to continue the transmigration of the soul from one body or place to another, according to one’s nature of work. The propensity for enjoyment may be turned into the desire for serving the mission of the Lord, By doing so, one’s activity is changed into karma-yoga, or the way by which one can attain spiritual perfection while engaging in the work for which he has a natural tendencyHere the word ātmā indicates the categories of all fruitive work. The conclusion is that when the result of all fruitive and other work is dovetailed with the service of the Lord, it will cease to generate further karma and will gradually develop into transcendental devotional service, which will not only cut off completely the root of the banyan tree of work but will also carry the performer to the lotus feet of the Lord.
March 6 1974 Mayapur
There is that story that one old woman, she was suffering. And she had to collect woods from the forest and sell in the market. So one day, how do you say, she was praying to Kṛṣṇa, or God, that “Kindly help me. I am in very poverty-stricken.” So one day, she was carrying that load of fuel. It fell down. So nobody was there to help him. So she began to cry, “Who will help me?” So she began to pray to God “Kindly help me.” And God came: “What do you want?” “Who are you, Sir?” “I am God.” “Kindly help me to take this burden on my head.” Yes. “All right.” From God, she’s asking, “Please help me to get this burden on my head.” That’s all. So everyone is going on, “Let family be very happy, my son be married. He may… Let him pass MA examination.” But it is the same thing, “Give me the burden on my head.” This is the prayer. Mūḍhāḥ. Na māṁ prapadyante mūḍhāḥ [Bg. 7.15]. The life was meant for understanding Kṛṣṇa and worship Him, and he’s asking, “Give me the burden on my head.” Therefore mūḍha, rascal, fool. He’s asking something which will never make him happy,
Everyone is asking, “Please help me to get this burden on my head.” Everyone is asking. [break] Kṛṣṇa mantra means asking nothing from Kṛṣṇa, but only praying, “Please engage me in Your service.” This is Hare Kṛṣṇa. Now let him engage, whatever service He likes. I don’t dictate that “Give me this service.” That is also sense gratification. As soon as I’ll say that “Engage me in this type of service,” that is also sense gratification. When one surrenders fully that “Engage me in Your service in whatever way You like,” that is pure devotion. You cannot dictate Kṛṣṇa. Because He wants, sarva-dharmān… “First of all surrender, then I will give you. I will allot what kind of service you can do.” Sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇam, ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva… [Bg. 18.66]. But if I dictate, then Kṛṣṇa will be…, “All right, you take this.” Then you again become unhappy. Don’t dictate Kṛṣṇa. Be dictated. That is happiness.
Devotee: That takes practice, to stop desiring for oneself. You have to practice…
Prabhupāda: …the practice is that you should simply desire what your spiritual master says. Don’t desire yourself. Yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādaḥ . If you fulfill the desires of your spiritual master, then Kṛṣṇa will be pleased.” Because he’s the representative, the immediate representative, boss, if you satisfy him, the master, supreme master, is also satisfied. If he gives report, “This clerk is doing nice,” that is sufficient. Yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādaḥ **. This is the injunction.
SB 1.5.35-Whatever work is done here in this life for the satisfaction of the mission of the Lord is called bhakti-yoga, or transcendental loving service to the Lord, and what is called knowledge becomes a concomitant factor.
Purport….This kriyā-yoga or karma-yoga, as recommended by Śrī Nārada to Vyāsa, is specifically recommended because the principle is to satisfy the Lord. The Lord does not want His sons, the living beings, to suffer the threefold miseries of life.
SB 1.5.36–While performing duties according to the order of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one constantly remembers Him, His names and His qualities.
PURPORT-Apart from such Vedic duties, even in our ordinary dealings (for example, in our household affairs or in our business or profession) we must consider that the result of all activities must be given over to the supreme enjoyer, Lord Kṛṣṇa.
The major portion of our monetary income, not less than fifty percent, must be spent to carry out the order of Lord Kṛṣṇa. Not only should we give the profit of our earning to this cause, but we must also arrange to preach this cult of devotion to others because that is also one of the orders of the Lord. The Lord definitely says that no one is more dear to Him than one who is always engaged in the preaching work of the Lord’s name and fame all over the world. The scientific discoveries of the material world can also be equally engaged in carrying out His order. .. Lord Caitanya has taught a very simple method in this connection. He has taught the lesson for preaching the transcendental message through singing, dancing and refreshmentAs such, fifty percent of our income may be spent for this purpose.

Prabhupada: Karma-yogi means one who does everything for Krsna. He’s
karma-yogi.
Guest (1): One who does everything for…?
Prabhupada: For Krsna.
Guest (1): For Krsna.
Prabhupada:
Just like you are doing, doing some work. For whom you are
doing?
Guest (1): For my own benefit.
Prabhupada:
That’s all. So that is karmaBut when you do the same
thing for Krsna, that is karma-yoga.

Makhanlal:
So vaidhi-bhakti is considered superior to karma-yoga then.
Prabhupada:
 No. Karma-yoga is better.
Makhanlal: Karma-yoga is better?
Prabhupada:
Yes.
Indian man: Pure bhakti is superior.
Prabhupada:
Pure bhakti is sravanam kirtanam. Sravanam kirtanam
visnu-smaranam pada-sevanam, that is pure bhakti.
 (break)
Yasomatinandana: …formed by anybody.
Prabhupada: Eh?
Yasomatinandana: Karma-yoga.
Prabhupada:
Unless one is inclined to take to devotion, it is not
possible to take to karma-yoga. Who can sacrifice the profit
?
Yasomatinandana: Does karma-yoga mean to follow exactly the sastras?
Prabhupada:
Karma-yoga means yat karosi yaj juhosi kurusva tat
mad-arpanam.
Yasomatinandana: Doing only for Krsna.
Prabhupada:
Yes. That is karma-yoga.
Devotee: Which means?
Prabhupada:
“Whatever you do, the result give Me.”
Some Conclusions– In two of the above statements by Srila Prabhupada, he uses the phrase “mission of the Lord”. This means what Krsna and Srila Prabhupada want, that we should also want, otherwise that work which we would normally do for ourselves instead of the Lords mission, becomes more karma, which only increases the roots of that banyan tree  which he says is “very deeply rooted”.
Whatever work done here for the mission of the Lord becomes bhakti yoga, otherwise it is simply more  karma and not even karma yoga. One devotee states that to do that, to desire only for Krsna takes a lot of practice to which Srila Prabhupada replies, you desire what  your spiritual master desires, then everything is alright.

Purple cauliflower facts from Govindas Gardens

AntioxidantsThe purple hue of this vegetable is due to anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are antioxidant flavonoids that belong to the group of phenolic antioxidants. Anthocyanins are also found in red cabbage, red wine and blueberries. This flavonoid holds potential health benefits, including the ability to help stabilize capillary walls. Weak capillary walls allow toxic substances to permeate into cells, which can be detrimental to the entire body.

FiberFor every 100 g of purple cauliflower, you receive 12 g of fiber. This makes the purple cauliflower a good choice when trying to improve digestive processes or waste elimination. Dietary fiber is important to overall health because it helps to keep you feeling full longer, and can even benefit your weight loss goals. The recommended daily intake of fiber each day is 25 to 30 g and 100 g of purple cauliflower will take care of almost half of that.

Vitamins and MineralsPurple cauliflower contains important vitamins and minerals for overall health. In 100 g of purple cauliflower, you receive over 100 percent of the recommended daily values, or DV, of vitamin C. In addition, you get 25 percent DV of vitamin K, 14 percent DV of folate and 11 percent DV of vitamin B6. Purple cauliflower also offers 12 percent DV of manganese and 9 percent DV of potassium.
