Hare Krsna to all
Pranams
All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Yesterday at Sila Puri, otherwise known as Kanhaiya dasanudas’s home       ashram, we had our usual Saturday Kirtan program. Only one thing was       noticeably different–The Deities, Gaura and Nitai were       literally dancing on Their altar !! While this was going on,and       feeling very blissful, I felt like I was somewhere “else”, but       definitely not in the material world.

Kanhaiya das has, and I have never counted them all,        probably around 50-60 Deities of Krsna or His incarnations on his altar,       which include about 50 Salagrama and Govardhana Silas.

But this time, during the arotik kirtan, which we were leading,       Gauranga and Nityananda Avadhuta Prabhu were really rocking back       and forth on Their marble altar. None of the other Deities were moving (at       least from what we could see), only Gaura and Nitai, who are situated       almost exactly in the middle of his altar setup. I thought They were       going to fall off the altar, They were moving back and forth so  much.

Both Kanhaiya and myself saw this unusual event at the same time, but       nobody else, who was there, saw it. We both asked the devotees–Did you       see that? Did you see Them dancing? It went on for about a minute.

So I was thinking about this later, on the way home, and mentioned to       the other devotees in our car, that only the two devotees (myself and       Kanhaiya) who do regular, daily, Deity puja, saw this event. We were       definitely blessed by Lord Gauranga and Nityananda prabhu to see this       happen. All the others who were also present  during the kirtan, did       not see it.  And this pastime reminds me of a story in Caityana       Bhagavat which we will tell now.

…One night Saci mata had a dream that she later recalled to Nimai       telling Him she dreamt she saw both her son Nimai and Nitai, but       only as 5 year old boys running and play fighting around the home.       They both entered the deity room and came out with Nimai holding a deity       of Balaram and Nitai holding a deity of  Krsna. And then all Four of       Them began fighting amongst themselves.
Balarama said Krsna was mad and said you imposters, get out of this       house because this house belongs to us as well as all the sweets, dahi and       milk.
Nitai replies, Your days of stealing butter are now over ! You are no       longer cowherd boys since you have become young brahmanas and so please       give up your possessiveness with regard to these sweets dahi and milk. And       if you dont listen to our advice, then we will convince you with a beating       !
Balrama and Krsna replies-We will catch hold of you imposters and tie       you up. Only you can be blamed for what happnens as we cannot tolerate       your mischief.
Lord Nityananda said, who is afraid of your Krsna? My Lord and master       is Visvambhara.
So They went on in this way for some time, snatching the food from       each others hands and mouths, and eating it.
Then NItai said ,mother, bring me some food, I am hungry. Then Sacimata said she woke up from her dream and could not understand what she       just saw.
Visvambhara smiling said-that is a very nice dream but dont tell       anybody about it. It is a fact that our Deities are actually       living and full of transcendental potency. Hearing your dream       has strengthened our faith and devotion for Them.

Conclusion– Chant Hare Krsna, worship       Gaura and Nitai, and Be Happy !!
