“Rascals are concerned with grammar. Actual workers are concerned with thoughts.”

**newrule

Prabhupada: “Rascals are concerned with grammar. Actual workers are concerned with thoughts.” by Ajit Krishna Dasa

The thoughts and the effects of such revolutionary literature are required. Not the grammatical. The so-called rascals, they are concerned with the grammatical. But those who are actually worker, they are concerned with the thoughts…

Room Conversation, including discussion on SB 1.5.11  Jaipur, January 19, 1972

Prabhupada: These people or this revolution is meant for killing the sinful resultant actions of the people. This revolution. Janata agha, agha means resultant action of sinful life. Janata agha viplavah. Viplavah means revolution, this very word is used. Tad-vag-visargo janatagha-viplavo yasmin prati-slokam abaddhavaty api[ SB 1.5.11]. Such revolutionary literature, even they are not properly composed. Yasmin prati-slokam abaddham. Not according to the grammatical rules and other rhetorical rules, but the, I mean to say, thoughts and the effects of such revolutionary literature is required. Continue reading →

The Glories of Sri Govardhana Sila-taken from Sri Caitanya Caritamrta‏

**newrule

Antya 6.292 The stone from Govardhana was always moist with  tears from His eyes. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu would say, “This stone is  directly the body of Lord Krsna.”
Antya 6.293     For three years He kept the stone and  garland. Then, greatly satisfied by the behavior of Raghunatha dasa, the Lord  delivered both of them to him.
Antya 6.294    Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu instructed Raghunatha  dasa, “This stone is the transcendental form of Lord Krsna. Worship  the stone with great eagerness.”
                                PURPORT
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura writes in his  Anubhasya that in the opinion of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the  govardhana-sila, the stone from Govardhana Hill, was directly the form of  Krsna, the son of Maharaja Nanda. Continue reading →

REFUTATION OF VEDAVYAS’S “REBUTTAL OF THE RITVIK PHILOSOPHY”

REFUTATION OF VEDAVYAS’S “REBUTTAL OF THE RITVIK PHILOSOPHY”

The author misunderstands the subject of his rebuttal of “Prabhupada Siddhanta” as so-called ritvik philosophy, when actually Srila Prabhupada himself in his July 9, 1977 letter to all GBC and temple presidents in ISKCON worldwide is the basis for the so-called ritvik philosophy vis-à-vis initiating new diciples on his behalf. So the author’s own lack of understanding and/or ignorance of the ritvik subject matter disqualifies his entire rebuttal as mere strawman arguments missing the real point. However, the author’s thinking is so distorted from vaissnava philosophy that I will point out his own mistatements delusions of the collective.

Contrary to Vedavyas’s belief, the parampara is a line of uttama adhikaris exclusively that cannot be rubber stamped, voted in, or self appointed.. Anyone less than uttama adhikari is insufficient in knowledge and guisdance and thus not complete and subject to maya. Think on this as much as you can for it is an absolute truth regarding how Krishna tattva descends in this material world from the beginning of creation to the end. mahajana yena gatah sa pantha Continue reading →

Prabhupada warns us to NOT change what he has given–SP‏

750509rc.per                 Conversations                 380176/530501 Paramahamsa: Yes. The Christians always say that Christ was  eating fish and drinking wine, so what problem have we got? Drinking a  little alcohol, eating a little meat? Prabhupada: Then how did he say that  “Thou shall not kill”? Srutakirti: That was actually the Ten Commandments.  That was given by God. Ganesa: Given to Moses. Srutakirti: That was  given to Moses by God. The Ten Commandments. Prabhupada: That is not Christ  has said? Srutakirti: Well, Christ enforced it. Paramahamsa: It was  accepted by him as one of the rules. Srutakirti: Christ’s greatest  commandment was to love God above all things. So if one is to love God, one  must follow His instructions. Prabhupada: Who is following the  instructions? Srutakirti: We are. Prabhupada: But supposing Christ  distributed fish, but did he say that we shall maintain regular  slaughterhouse for killing animals? Srutakirti: He was against that. He  threw the men out of the temple, because they were selling lambs in the  temple to be offered at the altar. So he kicked them out, saying this temple  is not a place for Continue reading →

Foodoffered to bogus gurus does not produce Krsna Prasadam-proof from Prabhupada‏

Hare Krsna to all
Pranams
All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Below we have a concise analysis (from Prabhupada’s  quotes) that food offered thru bogus iskcon gurus-is not Krsna  Prasadam. Sound alarming? Then please read further…..
Over the years, we have all seen a lot of damage to the once prestigious  worldwide Iskcon organization. Now, it is only a mere shadow of its past glory.  And here below is one key reason. The present leaders of iskcon have minimized  the actual instructions of Srila Prabhupada, and created their “own” version of  Bhakti Tattva.
Starting every day with the offering of bhoga to turn it into Krsna  Prasadam thru the un-authorized gurus of iskcon, everyone there is eating sinful  foodstuffs, and not Krsna prasadam. See the proof below.

The instructions given to the disciple by  the Spiritual Master at the time of initiation should be strictly followed.  That will make one advance to the spiritual path. But if one deliberately  defies such instructions, then his advancement is hampered from the very  beginning. This defying means to disconnect the relationship with the  Spiritual Master. And anyone who defies and therefore  disconnects the relationship with the Spiritual Master can hardly  expect the assistance of the Spiritual Master life after life. I  hope this will clear up this question sufficiently for you.’

Guru-tyaga by the Prabhupada-anugas

**newrule

Guru-tyaga by the Prabhupada-anugas.

Srila Prabhupada explains: Who is Bali maharaja?
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: “The Creation of the Fourth Order” : SB 4.24: Chanting the Song Sung by Lord Siva : SB 4.24.51 : PURPORT :
Lord Śiva is one of the twelve great authorities mentioned in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (6.3.20). These authorities are Svayambhū, Nārada, Śambhu, Kumāra, Kapila, Manu, Prahlāda, Janaka, Bhīṣma, Bali, Vaiyāsaki, or Śukadeva Gosvāmī, and Yamarāja.
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:”Creation” : SB 1.12: Birth of Emperor Pariksit : SB 1.12.25 : PURPORT :
Bali Mahārāja: One of the twelve authorities in the devotional service of the Lord. Bali Mahārāja is a great authority in devotional service because he sacrificed everything to please the Lord and relinquished the connection of his so-called spiritual master who obstructed him on the path of risking everything for the service of the Lord. The highest perfection of religious life is to attain to the stage of unqualified devotional service of the Lord without any cause or without being obstructed by any kind of worldly obligation. Bali Mahārāja was determined to give up everything for the satisfaction of the Lord, and he did not care for any obstruction whatsoever. He is the grandson of Prahlāda Mahārāja, another authority in the devotional service of the Lord. Bali Mahārāja and the history of his dealings with Viṣṇu Vāmanadeva are described in the Eighth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (Chapter 11-24).

Without going into all the hundreds of changes the iskcon GBC’s  have authorized, merely changing
whimsically ,only ONE instruction, disconnects themselves from  the param para and renders that “service” useless. What to speak of main instructions-like first of all-HOW TO OFFER  FOOD TO GOD !!  Now here below is the actual words of Srila  Prabhupada , where he tells his early disciples  the process of offering bhoga or food to God, Krsna. And there are many  other quotes like this one.

16 June, 1969

New Vrindaban

Letter to Arundhati

“Regarding your question about offering Prasadam, whatever is  offered to the Deity actually it goes through the Spiritual  Master.  The  Spiritual Master offers to Lord Caitanya, and Lord Caitanya offers it to  Krishna. Then Radha Krishna eats, or Jagannatha eats, then Caitanya Mahaprabhu eats, then the Spiritual Master eats, and it becomes  Mahaprasadam. So when you offer something, you think like that and chant the Gayatri  mantra, and then everything is complete. At last, ring the bell, take out  the plate and wipe the place where the plate was kept.”

He  threw the men out of the temple, because they were selling lambs in the  temple to be offered at the altar. So he kicked them out, saying this temple  is not a place for sellling animals for slaughter. Paramahamsa: But in one place they say  Christ encouraged fishermen. Because he came and the fishermen were fishing  on one side of the boat, and Christ came along and said, “You are fishing on  the wrong side of the boat.” He said, “Put your nets on the other side, and  you will get more fish.” An they did that and they got huge amounts  of fish. And so they were encouraged in their fish-eating in this  way. Ganesa: Jesus also said to the fisherman, “Give up you fishing and  I will make you fishers of men.” He said this to his  disciples. Prabhupada: Then on the whole it comes that his instructions  are sometimes contradictory. Paramahamsa: Not only that but they say  that… Usually when it comes right down to it, the Bible has gone through  so many interpretations and so many changes in the last two thousand years  that… Prabhupada: Yes. It is very  difficult. Paramahamsa: People…, I’ve talked to professors who  know the original Hebrew and the original tongues that the Bible was  written in. They say that is has changed so much that you can  hardly… Prabhupada: Yes, they are changing. Just like he  said, “Thou shall not kill.” They are now changing, “Thow shall not commit  murder.” They are doing that. Paramahamsa: Yes. They have a modern Bible,  using all modern terminology. Prabhupada: So, when you change, then the authority is lost. Just like in our society, sometimes they do  something nonsense and they say, “Prabhupada said.” (laughter) They  are doing that. We know that. It is deteriorated like  that. Continue reading →
