Srila Prabhupada re When qualified God will speak to you-directly not figuratively
Submitted by: Damagosha Dasa
Below is this conversation/Interview Srila Prabhupada explains that to the person who is qualified, who can speak directly, not figuratively with God-he is guru. There are two points for disciplic succession-be ordered and be qualified. Srila Prabhupada never gave any order for any of his disciples to take up the process of taking disciples in their own name, within his institution, but for us to initiate on his behalf only.
He also mentions several other points as well in this telling conversation. How much he sleeps, how far ahead he is of publishing his books than this disciples, how we the disciples cannot keep with our Spiritual Master, how he will choose a successor etc…

Srila Prabhuapda re: Pure devotees are always sound in body and mind by dint of spiritual enlightenment
Submitted by: Vidura Mahatma Dasa
“Bhīṣmadeva, speaking in that appealing tone, convinced Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira that he was very soon passing away. And Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira was inspired by Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa to ask him of the principles of religion. Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa inspired Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira to ask Bhīṣmadeva in the presence of many great sages, indicating thereby that the Lord’s devotee like Bhīṣmadeva, although apparently living as a worldly man, is far superior to many great sages, even Vyāsadeva. Another point is that Bhīṣmadeva at that time was not only lying on a deathbed of arrows, but was greatly aggrieved because of that state. One should not have asked him any question at that time, but Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa wanted to prove that His pure devotees are always sound in body and mind by dint of spiritual enlightenment, and thus in any circumstances a devotee of the Lord is in perfect order to speak of the right way of life. Yudhiṣṭhira also preferred to solve his problematic questions by asking Bhīṣmadeva rather than ask anyone else present there who was seemingly more learned than Bhīṣmadeva. This is all due to the arrangement of the great wheel-carrier Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who establishes the glories of His devotee. The father likes to see the son become more famous than himself. The Lord declares very emphatically that worship of His devotee is more valuable than the worship of the Lord Himself.” Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.9.25 purport by Srila Prabhupada

If you think yourself, if you meditate on yourself, if you see your hand, “Am I this hand?” you will say, “No, it is my hand.” “Am I this leg?” You will say, “No, it is my leg.” “Am I this head?” “No, it is my head.” Then where you are? So that person who is thinking within that “It is my hand, it is my head, it is my leg, it is my pant, it is my coat,” that you are. So have you seen that thing? You have seen your father, you have seen your mother or you have seen your son. But have you seen the real father who is within the body of the father? Have you seen the real son which is in the body of the son? No. Then your whole conception of education, your whole conception of living condition and problems—in the false world. Therefore this movement is required at the present moment in the world. Ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanam [Cc. Antya 20.12]. This will cleanse the status of your mental condition. Ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ bhava-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇam. And as soon as you understand yourself, then the whole problem—social, political, economical—everything will be solved. Bhava-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇaṁ śreyaḥ-kairava-candrikā-vitaraṇam. And gradually you shall realize your transcendental life. Your transcendental life is joyful. Ānanda-mayo ‘bhyāsāt. Transcendental life means always full of joy, joyful. That is our nature. We are hankering after joyful life, but we do not know where to hanker, how to get it. By nature we are joyful. It is said in the Vedānta-sūtra, ānandamayo ‘bhyāsāt: (Vedānta-sūtra 1.1.12) “By nature a living entity is joyful.” But my joyfulness is covered by this material understanding. So I have to remove this material understanding; then again I shall become joyful.

Why wake up at brahma muhurta-one and half hour before sunrise?

Subject: why wake up at brahma muhurta-one and half hour before sunrise??
Here is the scientific reasons explained by this kaviraj. (Ayurvedic doctor)
He explains (above) that if we rise at brahma muhurta time every day, then we get the full benefit of certain cosmic planetary vibrations or rays which increases the ojas in our bodies, the pranic energy which sustains healthy life.
Ayurveda is the most scientific and complete body of information on this planet regarding health. And It is just one section of the Vedas. Veda means knowledge, and that knowledge of healthy living is necessary for happiness.
And then, one would ask–what to do during this time of day once we have risen from bed?
By nature’s arrangement the crowing of the cocks warns of the brāhma-muhūrta hour. There is no need of alarm clocks; as soon as the cocks crow early in the morning, it is to be understood that it is time to rise from bed.

A Practical Guide for Cow Protection
By Narasimha das
“Krishna said at that time that the cows are worshipped even by the demigods, and He practically demonstrated how to protect cows. At least people who are in Krishna consciousness should follow in His footsteps and give all protection to the cows. Cows are worshipped not only by demigods; Krishna Himself worshipped the cows on several occasions, especially on the days of Gopastami and Govardhana Puja.” (Nectar of Devotion, Chapter 21, Item 9)
Goraksa, or cow protection, and goshalas dependent on charity are not one and the same. Actual goraksa can be practiced and preached only when cows and bulls are properly engaged for the purposes for which they were created. Srila Prabhupada once told the leader of NV, “Unless you make and program to use the bulls, you will make a program to kill them.” Sadly, this is what came to pass in NV and other iskcon farm projects due to the gross negligence of this man and others like him who misdirected so-called cow protection programs.
Lord Rama: by Srila Prabhupada

Srila Prabhupada speaks about Lord Rama:
How one becomes God? God is not manufactured by vote. There are definition who is God. God must be the proprietor of all the riches. Aisvaryasya samagrasya. Samagra means all. Nobody can compete with Him. Here, in this world, material world, I am rich man, and there is another rich man who can compete with me. There is another rich man who can compete with him. But nobody can compete with God in richness. That is one qualification of God. Nobody can say that “I am richer than God.” You can say “I am richer than Ford or Rockefeller” or this or that. You can say.

Therefore, sanātana-dharma does not refer to any sectarian process of religion. It is the eternal function of the eternal living entities in relationship with the eternal Supreme Lord. Sanātana-dharma refers, as stated previously, to the eternal occupation of the living entity. Rāmānujācārya has explained the word sanātana as “that which has neither beginning nor end,” so when we speak of sanātana-dharma, we must take it for granted on the authority of Śrī Rāmānujācārya that it has neither beginning nor end.
