VANI VS VAPUH

Physical presence is immaterial. Presence of the transcendental
sound received from the Spiritual Master should be the guidance of
life. That will make our spiritual life successful. If you feel very
strongly about my absence you may place my pictures on my sitting
places and this will be source of inspiration for you. (Letter to
Brahmananda and other students, 19/1/67)But always remember that I am always with you. As you are always
thinking of me, I am always thinking of you also. Although
physically we are not together, we are not separated spiritually. So
we should be concerned only with this spiritual connection.

So we should associate by vibration, and not by the physical
presence. That is real association.

There are two conceptions, the physical conception and the
vibrational conception. The physical conception is temporary. The
vibrational conception is eternal.[…] When we feel separation from
Krsna or the Spirirual Master, we should just try to remember their
words or instructions, and we will no longer feel that separation.
Such association with Krsna and the Spiritual Master should be
association by vibration not physical presence. That is real

Hare Krsna
We celebrated Gaura Purnima 2016 at Radha Krsna kunja by first going for Hari nama Sankirtan for about an hour and half.
Then we went to the nearby ashram of Kanhaiya and Noble prabhus for our full program of arotik, kirtan, class from Teachings of Lord Caitanya, then a lively discussion followed by abhisek, then prasadam.

And did I forget to mention Srila Prabhupada in his full size murti also showed up? And new Radha Krsna murtis
also showed up. Srila Prabhupada went with me and Radha Krsna stayed with Kanhaiya. Everybody was happy.
The devotees couldn’t stop looking at Srila Prabhupada and Radha Krsna…They are so beautiful..

Biogenesis and the Birth of Modern Science

The ancient Greeks, specifically the renowned philosopher Aristotle (384 B.C – 322 B.C.), believed that living things were spontaneously generated from non-living matter. Aristotle was a naturalist who loved to observe animals and nature while taking long walks through the country. He noticed that ponds were full of various species, such as fish, frogs and tiny swimming insects. Later, in the summer months, many of these ponds would dry up and appear to become lifeless mud sinks or totally dry beds. But when the rains came, the same dry beds would fill up again with aquatic life. He wondered how all this life became regenerated. After pondering this puzzle for a long while, he finally concluded that earth itself had the power to generate life spontaneously with water and air under certain conditions. Observing the life cycles of insects on land, he came to similar conclusions: that rotting meat, animal fur and other non-living matter had the potency to generate various forms life under certain conditions. Hare Krsna-

Below we have a short conversation with Srila Prabhupada about the farm projects. He wants to know why, if it is so wonderful and attractive the devotees don’t go to live there? If they get nice fruits, grains, open air,

milk, why they should not be attracted?

Then he says, we should not be attracted to this modern city life, but instead live simply, live off the land, become independent, chant Hare Krsna,and be happy in this way.

Srila Prabhupada states that HE is the representative of God.

Jan 28 1977–

Pṛthu-putra: …to show me. They were telling me that “You are going to see the representative of God.” And when I came to that vision, I saw the person. At that time I didn’t know who (it) was. But I had some doubts in my mind, and I was thinking, “Oh, that’s probably another kind of propaganda.” This was all in the dream. But when I came to that person sitting on the elevated seat in that forest, surrounded by many, many devotees, that person looked at me and proved to me that he was the representative of God. But after, I forgot. Maybe one year or something like this. One or two years after…

Prabhupāda: So there is no doubt about it that I am the representative of God.

Pṛthu-putra: Yes. But when I was…

Prabhupāda: Either you dream or not dream, I claim.

Pṛthu-putra: Yes. But this thing was just confirming. When I saw you the first time in Amsterdam, you were the same person that I saw in my dream one or two years previously.

Prabhupāda: That… You have read Caitanya-caritāmṛta? Guru-tattva. Guru-tattva. So there it is clearly said that guru is the manifestation of God. So it is confirmed in the śāstra. And all the ācāryas accept it. Yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādaḥ **.

Satsvarūpa: But is it possible to also learn spiritual truths from this…, from representatives on the subtle plane?

Prabhupāda: There is no question of subtle plane. You are on the gross plane. You first of all study gross things, and subtle, we shall see later on.

So by this process, the transcendental name, the sound incarnation of the Supreme Lord, becomes manifest, manifest so that we can realize God simply by chanting and hearing. Simply by chanting and hearing that will be realized. Of course, there are some rules and regulations for chanting, but in the beginning we haven’t got to observe those rules and regulation at the present. First of all let us have the taste for chanting; then we shall be little careful that the rules and regulations are followed. In the beginning, if we stick up to the… Rules and regulations are subordinate, subordinate thing. Just like you enter into an office. You are appointed in some office to work. So on the very day, you do not know all the rules and regulations. But because you do not know all the rules and regulation, that does not mean that you cannot be appointed. First of all let yourself be appointed. Now, working, working, yourself you will know that rules and regulations: “This is the rules, and this is the regulation.”

Just like in my life, I will say one instance. When I met my spiritual master, Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, so as a gentleman meets as a gentleman, so he was sitting in a couch like that. So, and I also sat down on that very couch. So I did not know that what are the rules and regulations. Now, when I saw that his other disciples are coming, and they are sitting down, (laughs) so I thought myself, “Oh, I have done this wrong. I should not have sat with His Divine Grace.” So of course, I did not get down immediately, but I took it, and from next day I did not sit. So rules and regulations automatically was taught. So that rules and regulations is not very important. The important is… The thing is that we must take up. The first rules and regulation is that we must have some attachment for this. Attachment for this. Then, automatically, rules and regulation we shall learn. There will be no difficulty.
