Our editing is to correct grammatical and spelling errors only, without interpolation of style or philosophy.
And another TRICK was to put in an ADDED sentence:
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soulS can impart knowledge unto you because THEY have seen the truth. Continue reading
Chanting AND Deity worship—SP
Our, this temple worship, Deity worship, we are
following the principles of Deity worship because our acaryas
established temple, but main principle is chanting. Therefore,
whatever we are doing, we offering prasadam to the Lord, we are having
mangalarati, the main principle is chanting Hare Krsna mantra. This
temple worship, it can be avoided, but we cannot avoid chanting Hare
Krsna mantra. As such, we have introduced in several centers that
“Begin with Hare Krsna mantra, keeping the picture of Guru-Gauranga.”
If it is not possible to worship the Deity according to the rules and
regulation, there is no need of establishing temple. But if there are
devotees who can actually keep the temple worship method in right
order, then… Otherwise, simple, by chanting, everything is complete.
But when there is temple worship, there is automatic purification
because we have to rise early in the morning, we have to take bath.
This kind of purification help…, is helped by temple worship. But
when there is grossest type of people who cannot take to this, simply
chanting will do. Hari namanukirtanam. Kalau tad, kali, kalau. Kalau,
means this age, that cleanliness is very difficult to maintain.

By her grace he was an extremely influential scholar, and he was the greatest champion among all the scholars in the four corners of the country. Therefore he got the title dig-vijayī, which means “one who has conquered everyone in all directions.” He belonged to a very respectable brāhmaṇa family of Kashmir. Later, by the order of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, he gave up the profession of winning championships and became a great devotee. He joined the Nimbārka-sampradāya, one of the Vaiṣṇava communities of the Vedic culture.

Gauri dasa pandita dasa glorification of Srila Prabhupada
‘Srila Prabhupada’s Departure’
by GPD
“Tomorrow we will go to Vrindavan; better to die in Vrindavan.” Those are the words of Srila Prabhupada in Hrsikesh in May of 1977. We were there trying to regain Srila Prabhupada’s failing health on the advice of a good friend and life member in Bombay, Mahadeviya Kartikeya. Things were going good in Hrsikesh until one stormy night. Srila Prabhupada was up all night and at about 2:30am he made that statement to Upendra Prabhu who came downstairs and woke the rest of us up with the devastating news that Srila Prabhupada wanted to go to Vrindavan to leave his body. We were not at all ready for the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada. Losing Srila Prabhupada’s personal presence would seem to be the end of the best thing that ever happened to us.
The power had been going off and back on all night with the storm. It was like the description of the beginning of this age of Kali in the Srimad Bhagavatam.
Srila Prabhupada’s health had started to deteriorate at the 1977 Goura Pournima Festival. He canceled a few of his scheduled classes and events. The devotees who came from all over the world started to worry about and pray for the health of Srila Prabhupada our ever well wishing spiritual master. Continue reading

PHALGUN KRISHNA PANCAMI By His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada [Five prayers glorifying special characteristics of Srila 108 Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakura. Presented on the commemoration of his appearance, by His Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, at Radha Damodara temple, Vrindavana, India in 1961].
First Vasistya
1. On this day, O my master, I made a cry of grief; I was not able to tolerate the absence of my guru.
2. On this auspicious day I have come with this offering just to worship you, remembering your lotus feet.
3. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s judgment is that renunciation is most important. Not only that, but such knowledge of renunciation must be delivered to every conditioned being.
4. The beginner in devotional service has no ability to solve this dilemma, but you are a maha–bhagavata, you have given us direction.
5. One bewildered by ignorance, what kind of renunciate can he be? He will only be a “phalgu-vairagi”; renouncing externally.
6. Renunciation is actually the result of real spiritual emotion. Without such feeling it is simply known as “show bottle”. Continue reading

Krsna, His name, His fame, His attributes, His activities… Sri-krsna-namadi na bhaved… Namadi means “beginning from the holy name.” So not possible… So if we keep ourself on the material platform, then for thousand years we may chant, it will be difficult. That is called namaparadha. Of course, holy name is so powerful that even by chanting with offense, gradually he becomes pure. Therefore we should not give up chanting. Any circumstances, we should go on chanting Hare Krsna. But the warning is that if we keep us on the material platform, then it will be not possible to understand Krsna, His holy name, His attribute, His form, His activities. It will not be possible.
